Ecuador: Pastaza, Amazonas (279-283)

5 days in Pastaza 'chez les Warusha', a family shuar...

Our cabaña at the Warusha´s

The kitchen... the main meeting point of the whole family... huge family!!

The pig part of the family too!
Kind of bathroom... but the Rio is the main bathroom!
Cutting a Palm tree... to eat the heart! not devastating Amazonia...
Here is the heart! Not so big for such a big tree!
Our guia (Jeremy) cooking our breakfast after a rough night in la selva
Our cabaña... I can say very basic as we slept in water (it rained all night!!!)

An experiment... tree which can cure a cold...
Here are the results... running nose, crying... So strong and we only took a very small dose!

Jeremy curing Thierry´s hongos (tablets, creams did not work...) Is the medecine from the jungle going to work?

Our last night in another cabaña!!! Amazing secenery around!
Samy... our little guia for the last 2 days... He is learning... 5 years old and a cutty!

At the waterfall...

Comida tipica... Tilapia y Yuca! Jeremy (16) is a very good chef!

  1. Ca avait l'air chouette cette partie de l'Equateur, on sera oblige d'y retourner! Et vous avez finalement pu prendre les rancheras!
